The relationship is a long-term contract between Aetna and Roaring Fork Valley Community Health Plan. Aetna has created custom plan designs specific to the residents of the Roaring Fork Valley.
By being a member of a participating Chamber of commerce, members are eligible for discounted medical insurance from Aetna. With Chamber plans, Aetna will also offer financial benchmarking and reporting information to promote quality health care coverage at competitive prices.

Coverage can begin on the first of any month. For a smooth transition, plan to have your completed paperwork submitted by the 15th of the month prior the date you'd like coverage to become effective.

As development consultant, Hub International has been contracted to find and maintain a suitable insurer for the Valley. Hub International will continue to oversee the development of programs associated with Roaring Fork Valley Community Health Plan. In addition, Hub International oversees the distribution of the program by working with brokers and providing information on legislative changes and how they affect the residents of the Valley.
